Recently, an investor told me they were willing to help me make more money with my side hustle - in exchange of completely sacrificing my clothing line and ONLY working the other job 6-7 days a week with NO time to dedicate to fulfilling existing orders. I was expected to leave these customers hanging and to pretty much give up who I am just to work with this person. They say money is the root to all evil - but not if you don’t let it run your life. The next few days were spent stressed the hell out with this person, arguing for hours on end till sun rise till sun down just never coming to a mutual agreement. I am a stubborn person and I will never be able to work for anyone that wants more than half of my earnings. Never work for anyone that ultimately wants to benefit off your hard work. Needless to say, I’ve parted ways with this person because I just can’t compromise what I’ve worked so hard for, just to make that “extra thousand” I will not fuck with anyone that tries to tell me that my other job should come first before my arts. Anyone that tells me that my clothing line is a joke and that it will never grow doesn’t know nor understand the worth of my passion. These people just want to use me and take my money. Hell no, I can make it big without someone telling me I ain’t shit without them. I don’t need that negativity in my life.
